Privacy Policy

Vowencia helps couples build a wedding website, send personal invitation links and collect RSVPs. This policy explains what we collect to do that, how we use it and the choices you have. Questions are welcome at vowencia.com@gmail.com.

What we collect

• Your account. Your email address, used to sign you in with a one-time code. We do not use passwords or phone numbers.
• Your wedding website. Everything you add in the editor: names, dates, venues, your story, schedule, dress code, gift links, photos and music.
• Your guests. The guest names you add, and the RSVP responses and messages your guests send through their invitation link, including whether they opened it.
• Purchases. Order number, plan, amount and dates. Card and billing details are handled by our payment provider and never reach our servers.
• Technical data. IP address, browser type and request logs, used to keep the service secure and working.

How we use it

We use this information only to provide Vowencia: to host and show your website, deliver sign-in codes, record RSVPs, apply the plan you bought, prevent abuse and answer you when you contact us. We do not sell your data or your guests' data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Who can see your website

Your wedding website is public at its web address, and anyone with the link can view it. Each guest's invitation link shows their name. RSVP responses and your guest list are visible only to you and to the people you invite to manage the website with you.

When a website is shared, everyone managing it can edit it and see its guest list and replies. The owner, such as your wedding planner, also sees the email addresses of the people they invited. If email reports are on, we send each person managing the website a summary of how many guests opened their invitation and replied; reports contain counts, not guest names.

Cookies

We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in and to remember the website you are editing. We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.

Services that help us run Vowencia

• Lemon Squeezy: payments, invoices and sales tax, as our merchant of record.
• Resend: delivery of sign-in and account emails.
• DigitalOcean: the servers that host Vowencia and your photos.
• Google Fonts: the typefaces on our pages, which your browser loads from Google.

Each receives only what it needs for its task and is bound by its own privacy terms.

How long we keep it

Your website and guest list stay available while your account exists, including after a paid plan ends; the site simply returns to the Free plan. When you delete a website, its content and guest responses are removed. Order records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require.

Your choices

You can view and edit your information in the editor at any time, and delete a website from it. To get a copy of your data, correct something or delete your account, email vowencia.com@gmail.com. We answer within 30 days.

Children

Vowencia is for adults planning a wedding and is not directed at children under 16.

Changes

If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, let you know by email.
